This painting captures the quiet magic of a lazy summer afternoon — those long, warm days that felt as if they would never end.

As a child, I grew up with my sister in the countryside, where life moved gently and every day brought small adventures. We loved wandering along the riverbank, letting the tall grass brush against our legs while the sunlight danced on the water.

At the end of each summer, when the apples in our garden turned sweet and crisp, we would fill our little baskets and carry them to the local horse-riding farm by the river. The horses always seemed to recognize us, their ears perked and their warm breaths brushing our hands as we fed them the apples we had picked with such excitement. Their soft snorts and gentle eyes made those moments unforgettable.

On the way home, we never rushed. Instead, we collected treasures from nature — wildflowers in every color, butterflies resting on our fingertips, tiny bugs, snails, and all the curious little wonders the world offered. Everything felt new. Everything felt alive.

These memories stayed with me, glowing quietly in my heart.

And it is this feeling — the endless summer days, the joy of discovery, the laughter shared with my sister, and the peaceful rhythm of the countryside — that inspired me to paint this painting.
